I am car shopping. I have a credit rating of 0 as I owe nobody any money and own my home of 15 years outright.
I have had the same well paying job for 14 years. Ironically, this makes acquiring a car loan difficult. This is not the fault of Bertera's. I told this to the dealer immediately.
He still wanted (a lot of) my time. He directed me to the car he thought I should be driving. I, very stupidly, got talked into filling out a loan application before I even saw the car. Then I was asked to wait outside as the car would be pulling up.
L-O-N-G wait. The dealer called me inside and told me I was right. My credit score was 0. He said I had a couple of options: the first being to get a co-signer.
I was living. I am 62 years old; not a 16 year coming in with my dad.
I never even saw the car. I may have to just pay cash for my next car, but I will not drop it at Bertera's
